Dear Norm,

It has been a long time since we last heard from you. We heard about Nancy's situation from one of the local brethren, and have indeed included her and you in our prayers. As you may know, I too was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, resulting ultimately in the complete removal of my stomach. At the same time, another type of cancer was discovered in my left kidney--renal carcinoma, which led to another operation to remove the kidney as well. I was given the usual 5-year prediction, first in 1989, then, after another emergency situation in 1993, and finally another in 1997, when I had my last operation. The last 12 years of my life have without question been the most difficult, but thankfully I have survived this long.

I have tried numerous alternative approaches, as I was flooded with the sincere advice of so many concerned people. Also, Xxxxx and I have studied in depth many such treatments on our own. I finally made the decision to go to Mexico for a 3-week stay at Hospital Santa Monica, founded and operated by Dr. Kurt Donsbach, a pioneer in many areas of alternative medicine, especially the use of oxygen therapy and chelation therapy. His clinic has had a remarkable record of success in dealing with terminal cancer patients. I have detailed information, including I believe a short video, and would be happy to send everything to you, if that is something in which you might be interested. I personally feel that my experience there, although not altogether pleasant (due to my own physical situation while there), did indeed prove very beneficial. I also have access to and information on numerous other therapies, and other Mexican and/or non-U.S. based hospitals who have achieved varying degrees of success in treating different forms of cancer.

If there is any way possible that we might be of help to you at this critical time, please let us know. I do not want to bombard you (as I was) with unwanted information, but if we can be of service, please do not hesitate to contact us at your convenience.

I know that this is an alarming situation, one that no one really anticiapted. It was the same with me. I was 44 when I had my first really bad reaction to what was happening with my body, nearly bleeding to death right in my own bed at home, before I could be gotten to the emergency room. I know the trauma, the fear, the feeling of near helplessness. I know how grim something like this can be, both for the one enduring it, as well as those who love and are close to the victim. For me, the entire experience has been THE great wake-up call that I desperately needed to help me return unto Yahweh, so my feelings about the years of suffering I have faced are mixed with grief, but also appreciation for the spiritual benefits that have accrued.

Please let us hear from you when you have the time. We will be praying for you, and hope you will keep us updated on Nancy's progress. May God be with and bless you in this struggle.

Sincerely,

J.
