Hello again everyone, Okay, how long has it been since I last wrote? Hmmm, July 17 minus June 24 makes that 3 weeks and a couple days. Well, we have some more good news about Nancy and her cancer. It's kinda hard to tell that she has cancer anymore. Anyone would be hard-pressed to find any cancer in her--including the traditional medical establishment. And this is why I say this.... Around two weeks ago, she was feeling a little bit funny again in the upper chest. It was very similar to the feelings she had previously and yet it was different. Well, on Thursday, July 5th, she decided to call the Tulsa doctor and go up to see him as soon as possible. We got an appointment for Friday morning. So, we went up there. We did a number of things while there. First, we determined why she was having these feelings again. Second, she gave more blood to send off to get tested. And third, she had an xray taken of her chest area. We have the results for all three things. First, her lymph nodes were not draining well so he gave her some herbs and some homeopathic stuff to aid that. That caused her feelings to clear up in a couple of days. Second, the blood test results were back by Wednesday of the next week. All the same tests were done that were done in April (see update #10). This time, with the exception of one item, everything that was high is now in the normal range and everything that was low is now in the normal range. The one exception is her IGG count. IGG is ImmunoGlobulin G-IgG which is the main antibody that responds to certain cancer antigens as well as other things. So, the doctor's interpretation of this was that this is great because the body now has everything in line (I bet that's a lot better any of ours!) and that the slightly higher IgG counts indicate that the immune system is strong, healthy and busy (I forget his exact words). Third, while I haven't seen it yet, the xray showed no signs of any cancer. Her doctor went over it with Nancy and they had no trouble seeing the stent that was put in her vein. He then sent the xray to a radiologist up the street and by Thursday we had his analysis. He said that everything on the xray was "unremarkable" which doesn't mean boring. In the medical field "unremarkable" means that there is nothing to remark about it. In other words, everything is normal. He also said that there is no sign of "any acute disease". So, what next? Don't really know. I'm going to try to keep building our house and I believe Nancy is going to focus on being healthy and happy! She has talked about doing a third month of Schulze program, possibly in California where she should be able to also implement some oxygen therapy. We might even take a preliminary trip in mid-August as I may have some Arizona business to do. I actually don't know if any of this is going to happen as she is doing quite well right now. She does have one complaint though that I will pass on to y'all... she said that very few people have written her at her fancypantsnan@hotmail.com address! So, everyone, let's deluge her with email. Well, a great big thank you goes out to everyone for all of your support, prayers, thoughts, gifts, etc. You all have made this burden of ours easier to carry. God bless you all.
