Hello again, Her hair is growing! She's got these little tiny fuzzy things that are now getting longer than the few remaining stubbles from her previous hair follicles. Her head is becoming somewhat peachy now. Hey, I always thought I had married a Georgia peach! (For those who don't know, she is from Georgia.) She now reminds me of that childhood ditty we used to say, "Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear. Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair. Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn't fuzzy was (s)he." Needless to say, this initial growth of her hair is good for her spirit. Well, this morning we are heading up to Tulsa to have her blood analyzed. I don't know exactly yet what tests are going to be done, but this is supposedly some of what is supposed to be done. There is going to be a Live Cell Analysis along with some Dark Field Microscopy doing some kind of a Carcinoembryonic Antigen (CEA) test. She is quite nervous about the whole thing. She has gone through a whole month of an intensive natural therapy and now it comes down to see if it did any good. It is natural for fears and doubt to start hammering at some at this point and she is definitely no exception to that. There is no doubt that much progress was accomplished during that tough month. While we have been very positive this past month, we are always cognizant of the fact that she is more than likely not cancer free but is on a path that will yet take more character, effort and time. There has been a lot of healing that has happened. But there is also a lot of healing yet to occur. There is still much gratitude to those who have reached out personally and in spirit to touch Nancy's life. Nancy is extremely grateful to all. On the homefront, she is quite busy. Our little homestead has been neglected for two or more months and so she has been doing a lot of cleaning and raking and organizing and etc…. I noticed that any calluses I use to have are for the most part gone. Trying to do a little work around here is giving me a few blisters and achy muscles. I have really softened up in the past two months. We did some quick garden preparation so we should be doing some planting soon. Spring is such a good time of year. Well, we're heading to Tulsa soon so I need to end this. Again, thanks to all. Love, Norman P.S., Just as a repeat… for those who don't know and/or are reading this update as the first one, if anyone wishes to help in some way, prayers, cards and emails are always helpful.
